HR Access & Permissions
Overview
HR profiles have their own unique set of access and permissions that may differ from HQ- and/or Portal-level permissions. These can be configured in the employee's HR profile, Personal Details tab (Staff or Administrator), and additional limited access can be provided to Staff users from the Linking & Permissions tab.
Access Types
- Staff - only have access to their own information unless additional permissions are selected (in the Linking & Permissions tab).
- Staff cannot edit Administrator profiles or approve their own leave.
- Administrators - have access to all areas and modules within HR & Payroll.
- Admins cannot edit Super Admin profiles or approve their own leave.
- Super Admin ⭐ - can only be designated/assigned by Support
- Super Admins can edit all profiles and can approve their own leave.
Staff Permissions Report
⚠️ HR Admin permission required
- Go to 💻 HR/Payroll > Manage Staff
- Click on the Manage Staff table menu (3 dots in the top right corner)
- Select View Staff Permissions
- Pick the permission type you want to check and then click Get Report
