HR Access & Permissions

Overview

HR profiles have their own unique set of access and permissions that may differ from HQ- and/or Portal-level permissions. These can be configured in the employee's HR profile, Personal Details tab (Staff or Administrator), and additional limited access can be provided to Staff users from the Linking & Permissions tab.

Access Types

  • Staff - only have access to their own information unless additional permissions are selected (in the Linking & Permissions tab).
    • Staff cannot edit Administrator profiles or approve their own leave.
  • Administrators - have access to all areas and modules within HR & Payroll.
    • Admins cannot edit Super Admin profiles or approve their own leave.
  • Super Admin ⭐ - can only be designated/assigned by Support
    • Super Admins can edit all profiles and can approve their own leave.

Staff Permissions Report

⚠️ HR Admin permission required

  1. Go to 💻 HR/Payroll > Manage Staff
  2. Click on the Manage Staff table menu (3 dots in the top right corner)
  3. Select View Staff Permissions
  4. Pick the permission type you want to check and then click Get Report
