Adding Staff Profiles
Adding, importing and linking new staff/employee profiles
Overview
There are multiple ways to add staff to erly. Mostly, profiles will be created via the Recruitment or Onboarding process. However, these can also be manually added directly into the HR module by an Admin HQ user.
Manually adding staff
💡 Admin Permission is required to manually add staff!
💻 Staff/HR > Manage Staff
Minimum Requirements:
Payroll Requirements:
- Click the menu (3 dots) in the top right corner
- Select Add New Staff
- Fill out the required Fields
- Click Add Staff
Minimum Requirements:
- First Name
- Surname
- Access Type - (Admin or Staff)
- PIN - used for 'public mode' app access
- Password
Payroll Requirements:
- Employed Entity
- Position Title
- Employment Type (Full time, Part-time, or Casual)
- Employment Commencement Date
- Hourly Rate
- Rate Type
- Avg. Hours per Week
- Pay Schedule
- Tax File Number
TFN Placeholders
If an employee does not have (or has not yet provided) a TFN, you may use one of the following to set them up:
- If a new payee has not made a Tax file number declaration, and 28 days have not passed – use 111 111 111
- If the payee is under 18 and earnings do not exceed $350 per week, $700 per fortnight or $1,517 per month – use 333 333 333
- If the payee is an Australian Government pensioner payee – use 444 444 444
- If the payee chose not to quote a TFN and has not claimed an exemption from quoting a TFN or does not fit into any of the above categories – use 000 000 000.
